Toy Rowboat

Interactive Children’s Toy:

This was one of the most enjoyable projects for me from sophomore year at Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) . The interactive Children’s Toy assignment asked for students to write a children’s story based on an inanimate object. The next step involved developing an interactive children’s toy based on that object.

The outcome of this project was "Dingy the Rowboat"; a boat with an adventurous life based around his owner, a boy named Ronnie. The final model uses a multi-vacuum form construction and can easily be disassembled.
